The CT's first visit to Cloud 9 on Siargao landed with 4–8ft of typhoon swell over a shallow reef, and it was the most watchable contest of the year.

Isabella Nichols was the standout for the team. She'd missed Trestles and Portugal after ankle surgery, and she came back and beat Molly and Tyler Wright on her way to the Final, where Caity Simmers edged her 12.00 to 10.77.
