The Juliette is Ethan Ewing’s updated high-performance shortboard — the same file he rode to his historic Bells win in 2023 and the board he put on full display at Trestles on his run to World #2. Still part of the DNA family, the Juliette adds more nose and tail rocker for tighter turns, pocket surfing, and sharper timing at high speed. It’s tuned directly around Ethan’s style: fast, strong rail engagement, and full-commitment turns.

For groms who want to go fast! The MF Bolt is a lively ‘all-rounder’ that lets younger surfers go hard while being super easy to surf. It’s basically a scaled-down version of Mick Fanning’s popular ‘Lightning’ model.

Size Reference

Hughie Vaughan: 5’8”, 60kg, rides the Bolt at 5’8 x 17 ⅞ x 2 3/16 @ 23.5L. 

If you’re not sure what that means for your grom, the Bolt should be the same size as their regular shortboard. Still not sure? Match their current height with their board size as a general rule for this model (a touch smaller if they’re a skinny twig like Mick was as a kid).

Mick, currently weighs 80kg and is 5’ 10”,  typically rides a 5' 10" DNA for 3-6ft Snapper and D’Bah. We recommend you order this board the same length as your standard performance short board.
