Hughie Vaughan: 5’8”, 60kg, rides the Bolt at 5’8 x 17 ⅞ x 2 3/16 @ 23.5L. 

If you’re not sure what that means for your grom, the Bolt should be the same size as their regular shortboard. Still not sure? Match their current height with their board size as a general rule for this model (a touch smaller if they’re a skinny twig like Mick was as a kid).

Mick worked closely with Darren post-retirement to create a faster, sharper version that thrives in smaller, weaker surf, but still holds its own when things get bigger but lack push.

The Black Diamond is DHD’s true all-rounder - a genuine one-board quiver designed to handle almost anything you’re likely to surf, and it's now available in our Soft Top construction!

With extra flotation through the front half for easy paddling and wave entry, it stays forgiving and user-friendly in small, weak surf, while still offering enough performance to handle steeper, better waves when they turn on. So what’s different from the 3.0?

The nose is a touch narrower with more lift, creating less catch up-front when you’re tight in the pocket. A rolled deck provides extra volume in the centre, giving you a lower & more refined rail. The tail has been pulled in, so you can push harder through turns with more manoeuvrability.

The 4.0 paddles better, goes faster & can be pushed harder in heavier conditions, when you need it the most!

Perfect for 1 to 4ft surf the Mini Twin is a twin fin surfboard that's a little shorter and a little rounder than its big brother the DHD Twin Fin. This retro-inspired surfboard comes with reinforced carbon in the fin boxes and tail that will give you plenty of control and strength through your back foot.
